Educational application of the Art of Hosting practices

I am interested in the educational application of the Art of Hosting techniques. What would happen if the teacher took up the role of host? Does anyone have experience or information on the use of Open Space or World Cafe as a teaching method? What about using the methods in an on-line environment? Any assistance would be appriciated! JenniferSee More

Hi Jennifer,

Glad you are enjoying the thesis. I think you are right that it overlaps with several theories. Maybe it's like taking the best from each to find what works for you/your situation? Happy to discuss further and to hear more about your research (bettinaboyle@shaw.ca or skype bettinaarnum)

Hello jennifer,

I read your note on using AoH in the field of education. I think it deserves a better place than where you have posted it now. Please consider to repost it here: http://artofhosting.ning.com/forum/categories/exciting-new-developments/listForCategory   - under Conversations -> Exciting New Developments.

You can also do a search in all the members, and use the word education, and see what comes up.

Another resource for your search is to use the AoH emaillist; or going on to the online community of the World Café and see what you can find there through a search.
