And Linda, if that is the week that I am around in Leeds, I could join you too!

Liane, you could send George an email through this site, because as he is not a member in this group, he will not read your comment.

Linda - that would be amazing! thank you. Haven't been to Leeds before but already feelin the luv :) Augusto Boal's techniques were born out of Freire's so i'm hoping it'll be useful...and even better to share the sparks from it with you. If you can't come then I'll be sharing my harvest with you anyway and still bouncing ideas off you if I get the chance

George - saw your AoH for Occupy message - can't see your profile on the UK group - let me know more

Of course you can stay here and in a bed and not on the couch.  Also I might come to this event, will it be worth it?  L xx

Two interesting workshops coming up

1. 26th January in Leeds. For info on Freire:

2. Creative Facilitation workshop in London 14&15 January £120: I have the agenda if you'd like to know more.
Linda - it looks like you're in Leeds so it would be lovely to meet up with you and share practices. Also, I may be looking for somewhere to sleep so if you know of anywhere, ideally couchsurfing, please let me know.

With London Love :) Liane

Out of interest, are there any resources/harvests/London-based people on the ning from the AoH training in June 2011 at West Lexham?

Hello Liane,

You could post your notes on Pro Action Cafe in the forum that is focused on this. Here it is:

You can share the document, clicking on the paper clip icon in the text boxes.

With love,

For anyone interested here's my Pro Action Cafe notes:

A successful first time :) with 32 participants and lots of positive & grateful feedback.

Only major problem was that it was running alongside the rest of the unconference (participant generated 45 mins discussions) so participants had to choose to take the risk that they wouldn't get to host their project/idea as explicitly. This meant allowing them to write up their projects on a whiteboard prior to the circle. I still presented this as a 'first come first served' and acknowledged that there were keen hosts.

And not sure where else on the ning to share/post it'd be great to download the actual document rather than have it as one of my google docs.
