Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Through Pieter Ploeg of YIP, at a European Lifelong Learning Partnership conference that took place in Italy between the 28th October to 1st November 2012.

I was drawn to the Art of Hosting because I felt it would help me to make connections and develop my hosting abilities.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I have no experience of Art of Hosting yet, my competence is new. I am have been involved with hosting by default with the work I have been involved with, and recognise that I need to develop my skills and understanding.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Connecting people with the planet and their hearts. Exploring the gift economy, Way of Council/circle time, Wilderness connection, power of pilgrimage, listening from a still and conscious place.

Where do you live/work?: Currently an intentional nomad

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: My interest is in supporting people to live from the heart and reflecting on how we need to re-vision what it is to be a human being to support the shift to a sustainable civilisation. Passionate about the planet, our eco-system, supporting ways of living from a place of non-violence.
