Hi Lucy - well its a small world isn't it - it IS embercombe we are thinking of using as the venue - a couple of us visited a few months back and it was there that the idea of an AoH in the south west was born - how funny, will add your name to the list and also be in contact soon Love Linda x

Hello everyone - a sneak preview of the art of hosting transformative conversations in the UK, being held in June in Norfolk.  Do hope you can join us.   Its for people new to hosting but also for more experienced practitioners looking for space to dive into their work ( especially systems transformation and building social movements )  in a bit more depth.

Hi george - yes I figured as much and inspiration is the currency of the day as far as I can see.  So yes in for this, let me know how I might contribute. Do you have dates yet?  See Rias offer to also get involved.   Yes open another topic group and we can send an e mail direct to the whole AoH UK list inviting them into this conversation.  The ning site isnt really used that much for conversation - maybe this will spark something.  Ok speak soon    Linda xx

Linda, thanks for your interest! I got your email. It would be a training we could offer in an unused UBS building reclaimed by the movement and renamed to Bank of Ideas. (I will lead a series of teach-ins there on Attention Training for Social Change, starting tomorrow.)

 

All training at BoI are offered free of charge, so this would be for a hosting team of mates who feel inspired to do the work just for the love of supporting those who put their body on the line for the 99%.

 

I'm participating in some of the Working Groups of Occupy London and would be happy to say more about the conditions that call for AoH training to people in the Process and other groups.

 

Rather than by email, shouldn't we open a new topic so that some other mates in AoH UK may also become aware of what is happening and join us?
