How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Kara Stonehouse, in Calgary workshop on graphic facilitation, October 2012.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I'm new to Art of Hosting. I'm curious to learn & participate. I've watched YouTube clips. It resonates with me because in my life & work, I need to be able to collaborate with parents, families, administrators towards setting & achieving common goals.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Attachment-based developmental approach to working with children & families in health care & education, with aim to support language & thinking.
Where do you live/work?
Currently on sabbatical, traveling, training, volunteering.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I'm new to graphic recording & facilitation, which is now becoming part of working with families for goal setting. I have passion for the magic of raw, vegan cuisine. I want to learn more about plants & how to treat the planet in a better way. My affinity for animals is broad & deep. My interest in Yoga for Backs has as much to do with improving core strength as it does improving the information highway up the spinal cord to the brain to support therapy in development of language & thinking. Graphic Recording of The Mushroom Kingdom

The Mushroom Kingdom - A David Wolfe talk.pdf

The invitation to enter & participate in the Mushroom Kingdom brings us on a journey of learning WHAT mushrooms, WHY they are helpful to us & HOW to integrate behaviours into our lifestyle that include mushrooms.  The journey spirals all the way in, to a spore.  Enjoy!

Welcome to the Art of Hosting community, Lisa! Glad to see you here! Please post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you.  You might find an AoH event in wherever you land next -- have a look on the events page!
