Hi, Everyone, I'm here to learn & contribute.  I work in the areas of attachment-based developmental approach to working with children & families towards language & thinking skills.  We work collaboratively to set goals & make plans.  Teachers & administrators are often part of those conversations, as well.  I'm new to graphic recording & am thrilled to be exercising that part of my brain, as part of those conversations with families.  So happy to connect.  Thank you!

Hi all, I just had the opportunity to partake in an AoH on Bowen Island.  I live in Rossland, BC (southern interior) in community development, sustainability and often designing/facilitating meetings.   If there are others in the interior of BC, would be great to connect.  And with travel, nice to know these types of conversations are taking place across the country.  Nice to meet you all!

Hello Canada AoH,

Iam the newbie on the block and looking to get connected. I work in Vernon for an environmental/engineering consultiing company. I have just finished month 1 leading their new initiative for a new practice area Communication and Decision Support Systems i.e. getting people together to explore, think and do. The wild ride is just beginning...

I'm from Edmonton, and together with Beth, Marg and Hugh Sanders, hold space for a local community of practice with AOH folks, more traditional facilitators, community developers, and other kindred spirits.  Ten to twenty of us meet monthly (with about 50 on the list, none of whom want to be deleted), have been for almost two years. Nourishing, sustaining... a place to learn, to rest, where we bring our vulnerabilities and deep heart intent to be our best out there in our respective contexts.

Hi all...

The Vancouver/Lower Mainland Art of Hosting community is in the process of initiating a community of practice locally.  Keep an eye out for an email in the couple of months.
