Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been designing and facilitating leadership programs since 2006 and have been a practitioner of Art of Hosting since 2011. After attending two Art of Hosting trainings (Toronto, Columbus), I was an apprentice host with the Art of Hosting in Oaxaca, Mexico (Aug 2015). In 2015 I co-founded bloom consulting, working with organizations to strengthening their creative and collaborative capacit. We use Art of Hosting, alongside creative arts and embodied practices in this work.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My hosting work is around supporting organizations and teams to work more collaboratively and effectively; rejuvenating creativity, and sparking innovation; and hosting community conversations that matter. As an artist and host, I curate artful leadership programs developing authenticity in leaders through creative arts and dialogue.
I am a facilitator of InterPlay a movement and storytelling practice connecting us to our body's wisdom.
Bloom hosts The Learning Community (TLC) a monthly dinner dialogue and gathering space for artists, facilitators, conveners and leaders to share skills and learn from one another.
We endeavour to come together as a community of practice exploring the intersections amongst art, leadership and community healing.
