Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I discovered the Art of Hosting through my doughter Simone Tiesinga-Poutnik in January 2008. We called the first german AoH-Training im Allgäu in July 2009.
In 2010 I was apprentice of Maria and Sarah at Axladitsa.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
In my facilitation work which begun more than 20 years ago I used several methodologies for facilitating group-conversations in organisations and communities. Since 2009 I participated in the AoH-Trainings in Allgäu, Bregenz and Berlin and was apprentice-host in Brussels 2010. In may 2012 I was caller and Host of the second AoH Training in Allgäu. After this Training Ria called me a steward in Germany. AoH is a very important part of my life, private and work. I am experienced practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My primary focus in my hosting work is in communities, Transition-Town iniciatives and different non-profit networks.
In february 2014 I founded a LAB togeter with my businesspartner for reevaluation of the sector of finance and insurance in Germany.

in the mountains of South Germany - im Allgäu
