How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Manfred Hellrigl and Michael Lederer told me about artofhosting - they had been introduced to it by Ursula Hllbrand. I went to a training in Oslo in February 2011 (around the 20th). What attracted me? It seemed to reflect many experiences I had gone through in my professional and private life and it seemed to respond to a deep hope and longing - and it does.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am a starting practitioner, and try to apply it in the work in communities in my region (community development with the focus to improve the conditions esp. of children by opening possibilities for child participation).
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
children participation, community development, participation of all generations
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
The balance of life - how can we as global citizens take on the responsibility to take away the obstacles to this balance? How can we shift from patterns of mistrust and competition to patterns of trust, mutual support and co-creation?
