How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Starting practitioner. I participated in a training in Boston 4 years ago. And, also did a two-month sabbatical at Axladitsa-Avatakia in Greece two years ago where Sarah and Maria use the AoH as a daily organizing principle.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I attended one training 4 years ago, was a participant in the Art of Humans Being in the summer of 2010, served as a host in a training in Essex, MA in January, 2011, and am now on a hosting team for a soon to be announced training in Vermont in August, 2011. I have also practiced aspects of AoH in various communities and am now an active participant in a community of practice in Vermont. I guess I would say I'm a moderately experienced practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
At this point my interest is general with the hope of being able to apply this practice in the community where I live. I currently have a particular interest in how to apply these practices in education.
