How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I enter the field of the art of hosting through a friend's invitation and went to my first training in Brazil, Curitiba - 2010. I had been working with collaborative methodologies and values and wanted to be part of a community of people who were also practitioners of this art. :)
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I've been working with hosting and dialogue since 2003, in different fields such as companies, communities, government. Since I found this community I've been part of many hosting teams for AoH trainings in Brazil and am part of a group of people investing in the growth and strengthening of the brazilian community. I consider myself an eternal apprentice, an experienced practitioner and a steward of this art and this values.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I've been working with human development since 2003 in corporation, NGOs and communities. Now I'm starting to work more with education and social work.
I know what you mean... just got back on FB after i had it deactivated for 6 months.
Job is great, i work as IT Working Student at the IDEO office in Munich. And i started a Bachelor in Scientific Computing... really happy about both! So science that is the new direction. Filling my own head first with good (and causally correct) knowledge before i party about groups & passions all day long as i did before :)
Oh yes, you and Thomas, congratulations! Say hi please.
Nice, all the best for settling into your beautiful place at the coast and your new social work there!
Hi Narjara! Hah, nice to hear back from you on the welcoming comment 13 months ago, a nice surprise :) Meanwhile i am actually not actively involved anymore in the AoH community. New job, new studies, different direction...
