How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Witnessed the birth of the AoH in Castle Borl, Slovenia... Have been flowing into its story as a learner in circles, as a caller, participant and host. First AOH in 2004 in Holland, 2nd in 2009 in Istanbul... I practise the practice with mates in the field and in networks...
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I see AoH as part of daily practice... Apply principles and ways of it in any other shorter processes, may it be counselling or one to one or group interviews, etc. Not sure where I would "classify" myself, though in this experience-based (?) scale... My strong points as a host would be compassion, bridging, embracing diversity, seeing the connections of "unconventional" friendships among people, conditions and elements... recognising the needs, taking the courage to act on time, invite innovation and dare to take up leadership. I'm longing to see the hosting capacity and expansion of hosting in Greek language and culture, my motherland/language...
