How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?

As a Canadian living in Finland working with sustainability entrepreneurship, Friends from Finland (Team Academy) invited me to AoH Karlskrona in Feb 2010.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)

After learning some of the methods, we got right into it in Jyvaskyla and the org I helped found back in 2008, Net Impact Central Finland, organized the first Unconference Jyvaskyla - an open space for students, business practitioners and citizens to talk about business and sustainability.

I've espoused the necessity of AoH to many and have begun to develop my own hosting skills - but I'm eager to learn more!

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?

-sustainability (Masters in Corporate Env. Management)
-entrepreneurship (assisted with Global Venture Lab)
-higher education (tap into the potential of HE to be catalysts for change)

Where do you live/work?

Ottawa (somewhat of a nomad)
