Niklas - I m also interested in your research.social capital is a term by Pierre Bourdieu - in comparison to economic, cultural, symbolic capital.

From the thread in this conversation I understand that Niklas is investigating on Social Capital in the EU institutions. In that case also the EC AST Network is a valid argument for investigation. Niklas can mail me at frans@miepfrans.net for more explanation.

Niklas and team,

this link has now started to travel the internal practitioners network, many of whom are very active in hosting, designing and promoting the methods. So some people are for sure very good to speak about how it made it's way in, and others would be good to take on board for how it is living and developing now. A core group holds the famous "Thursday morning coffees" in a café near Schuman, where we exchange and explore, and deepen, and we also organise monthly lunchtime practice meetings. That in addition to the official training offer. So the more angles you receive, the better your picture! And sure, we can give you names, and many are lurking here, and might just contact you as well.

I don't know all the people inside the EC, so I cannot guide you to the 'right' people... but sure OK to have a skype conversation! Helen is somewhere on holiday, so she has to come up with times and dates that would fit her schedule.

Hi Niklas, you can interview Lena and myself about the early years, we've been pulling a few strings and prepared ground in the EC. Lena and I left the EU administration last year and now live in Austria.

Yes, I got that impression from Matthieu, that Helen was the "first one on the boat", so Helen, you are definately someone that we will need to talk to. As you pointed out, I also think it is a good idea to have several people with insight guide us to our participants, maybe you Ria, by virtue of your external perspective could help with that?

At this point we are trying to get a more clear view of what has happened. Again, thank you both for being so enthusiastic, I can understand that AoPL is "your child" and we depend or your guidance, so thanks in advance for all assistance.  

Would you Ria and Helen, be willing to have a Skype conversation with us in the coming week?
