How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Initially through browsing the web on facilitation and related key words. Getting more intensively involved in the practice of serving transformations, I became more aware of the width, depth and inspiration of the AoH practive and community members.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I started facilitating collaborative work processes back in the 90´s. Don Beck then introduced Spiral Dynamics in our team of OD practitioners. Picked it up more as a core service when invited to function as a host for the Climate Solutions Meshwork in Copenhagen (COP15). Served for a.o. Enviu and IUCN´s Leaders for Nature.
See it as an integral part of mesh-weaving/-working.
Level: practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Wherever I can contribute to synergize, connect, inspire and add a more integral approach. Both in the social as in the business domain.
More typically: at the intersection of strategy, innovation/transformation and community building.
See also my e-card.
Where do you live/work?
Live: Oegstgeest, near Leiden Netherlands; Work: glocal
inspiring to read your profile - I myself am in the process of starting a local branch of the Biomimichry network here in Colombia, and for me what is most interesting about this, is really how we can learn from nature how to organize our groups, organizations, cities and societies as ecosystems.
If you have any resources on these matters I would be honored if you would share them.
For now you you will enjoy and contribute to this community.
Warm regards
