You are experimenting with Walking On. You're discovering beliefs and practices that solve problems and reveal abundant resources. You're creating communities where everyone is welcome to learn, grow and contribute. You know that we have everything we need.
You need to know you're not alone. There are millions more people like you. This book tells some of their stories. Together, we are a movement of Walk Outs Who Walk On. And we are building the world we wish for.

"If there is any hope for us it lies in rediscovering and recreating community. Do not doubt that this is possible. Read Walk Out

Update from Deborah
WOW. (Or should I say, WOW-O?)
Where do I start? It has to be with thank you. You all were amazing!
What a day we had yesterday. Hour after hour, I watched our effort rise on Amazon, passing authors I've loved and revered -- even if only for a short moment in time. This has been a glorious, fun, moving and thrilling moment. And, I should finally confess, the best birthday present ever.
So where do we stand? We accomplished every goal we had for Amazon.
Top 20 in all books -- we came in at #16!
#1 in Current Events
#1 in Urban Planning & Development
#1 in Movers and Shakers (which I just heard about this morning)
#1 in Hot New Release in Nonfiction
We did even better in Canada -- rising to #13 overall and #1 in Nonfiction!!!
This is incredible. And... it may not be over yet. There is a slim (and I mean slim) chance that we could be in contention for the New York Times Bestseller list. But that's a far more complex process that calculates one week's sales (ending Saturday, I believe) and includes buying at independent bookstores. So, if you're excited by what we've kicked off here, please keep spreading the word.
After all, we are launching a movement.
For now, let us all enjoy this success that we have created together. I am privileged to count on you as dear family, friends and colleagues.
With gratitude from both Meg and myself,
Deborah Frieze
