How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Wow, several years ago now...not sure how I heard. I went to Australia (Melbourne) in 2008 and trained with Deidre, Toke, Tatiana, Aart and Mary Alice

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I use Art of Hosting in my communities - with / for local government and Transition Towns. However I am sure that I do not yet embody the full spirit of it and am short of fully trained people to work with me which is a real draw back. I also used AoH in my campaign as Councillor for the Regional Council as a way of facilitating greater understanding of the issues we are challenged and inspired by.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Transitioning to a deeper understanding of the Great Turning - beyond sustainability.
