How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I found the link thru Resurgence magazine in an article on New Stories. I have been gestating this idea for a few years in Any case. I feel that if we can encourage conversation at deeper levels - there may be done possibility of connections between folk. I love your website and the contents - I connected to it right away.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I think I would qualify as new in terms of what you do in your specific activity - however, I work with groups all the time and as a group therapist, love the magic of such a space which allows unfolding and expanding. The art of observation and listening combined with a sense of timing are so much part of what occurs for me and in the group. I am also aware that families benefit from the process too.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: The primary field is creating safe spaces for offenders to work on a variety of issues. It is also about many other things but that helping the unspoken to be spoken is one of the main things.
