How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I think I first came across AoH in reading Chris Corrigan's blog, almost 10 years ago now. It struck me as a mature and exciting way of going about this whole business...
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
New to this particular framework, but been making my own fumbling attempts to encourage and facilitate conversations in a number of different ways down the years.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
As part of Hedgespoken travelling theatre, we're increasingly moving into community arts projects where the conversations during development are as important or more important than the performances themselves.
Where do you live/work?
In a 1966 Bedford RL lorry with my partner Rima Staines and our son. Currently parked in Devon, England.
Hello, Tom, and welcome to the Art of Hosting community! Glad to see you here. Post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you. We hope you will find value in exchanging in this virtual community!
