How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
The first time I got in contact with the name "Art of Hosting", was during the ALIA (Authentic Leadership in Action) Conference in March 2014, where I joined the "harvesting team".
What attracts me to Art of Hosting is the constant learning process within a community of practice - which is aligned on the purpose to have meaningful conversation, on which wise actions can follow.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
My experience level in the art of hosting is on a starting/practitioner level. I use and apply the principles in workshops (mainly in education and personal development), as well as in daily life to practice meaningful conversations with my family, friends, colleges or strangers on the street.
My competence is to create and hold a field of trust and playfulness, while combining it with shared responsibility and tangible outcomes.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Education (Hackathons, transformative learning, Teacher's Training), Team building workshops
