How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Researching online for websites which promote authentic dialogue.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I was trained as a small group facilitator several years back. Facilitated several workshops on varying topics back then. My focus back then was essentially on 'process' and less on content. I became skilled at it, however, I moved into another field of work where I did not utilized my facilitation skills. Recently after returning to school for some training, I have discovered websites of interest and intrigue, and would much love to explore the art of facilitating conversations that matter.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I would, at this moment, suggest that it might involve career development.
Good to have you part of this community - hope you will get a chance to participate in a training, since it gives a very powerful experience of exactly the things that you mention in your interests.
And if you don't already have the contact to Chris Corrigan based on Bowen Island - he is a good place to start in terms of connecting to the AOH community in the Vancouver area.
