How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Heard about if through Meg Wheatley's books and Berkana. Finally attended first one in Sept 2007. Outside Louisville KY.

I "see" whole systems and followed the sciences of chaos and living systems since the late 1980s.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
AoH is a core competency experience for community leaders and a significant part of my work as a community consultant. I've championed the experience in the Tampa Bay area and beyond, hosting 2 in 2008 and two mini-tastes at the University of South FL St Petersburg. I also helped to bring AoH to the Institute of Noetic Sciences annual conference in 2009. I consider myself a steward of AoH, while not as a facilitator.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
whole community engagement - in growing circles starting with St Petersburg and Tampa Bay.

Also encouraging people to attend AoH sessions to learn the tools and practices, bringing them back to apply regionally. The rationale is to affect large system change, raising the collective intelligence and tipping point in this peninsula of FL.
Where do you live/work?
St Petersburg FL is where I live. I work globally.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Collective intelligence

Measuring a shift of consciousness in a region

Tools and plans to raise the vibration of an area

The power of love to transform a community

Living in a HeartField

Hi Sharon, welcome to our Online Community!

Oh great, wow, bows to your rich experience and role in this field Sharon! Sounds wonderful.

I remember that Analesa BatShema (Lisa Abby) forwarded me something of your work a while ago! oh i'd love to learn more about HeartField... how do you measure shift of consciousness? do you know "Ami, the Child of the Stars"? a beautiful children's book and the extraterrestrials in that story do have instruments to indicate love-measures of people... haha, i wrote an additional chapter for that book on my blog ;)

Please let me know when you're coming through Denmark, i'd love to meet you. Later this fall i'll be with Tom Atlee in Oregon.
