How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Info was sent by a colleague via e-mail on February 12, 2014 at MN Department of Human Services located in St. Paul, MN.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I completed an initial 5-Day Training on Art of Hosting in 2012 and have been engaged in several activities at work in utilizing the Art of Hosting techniques; however, I have more experience in using the World Cafe technique. But, just completed a 3-day training on Open Space Technology in January of this year. Therefore, I would consider myself as a starting practitioner.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Addiction and Recovery - substance use disorders and mental health / behavioral healthcare with a special emphasis on racial, cultural health disparities and employee / community engagement

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Community and Civic Engagement
School Disciplinary Issues and Health/Wellness Initiatives for Students and Community
Eliminating Racial/Ethnic Health Disparities
Promoting Trauma Informed Policies and Practices
Women's Issues - healthcare, workforce, equity, social justice
