- How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
- I participated in the Summer School of Participatory Leadership, during the Alpbach Forum, 19-22 August 2015.
What attracted me is the focus on people, on listening with intention, dividing roles and sharing responsibility, and improving the results we get from our day-to-day meetings, as well as conferences etc, by moving from a moderating approach to a hosting approach.
- Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
- I would say I am a starting practitioner. I already have experience with facilitating events, where I have used tools from AoH, but I am definitely at the beginning of the journey of becoming an experienced practitioner.
- What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
- Entrepreneurship education for young people, empowering young people to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and hosting large student events.
- Where do you live/work?
- Brussels, Belgium
- Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
- I am passionate about people and about learning. I like to constantly improve my working style, to share and empower others to explore their potential. Therefore, I very much like working with people, and I also have experience with training and coaching.
