Profile Information
- How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
- I have been connected to the AOH listserve for a year or so, with deep interest in Hosting work going back to attending a Berkana From the Four Directions event in about 2000. I have used some of the principles which I think are common to AOH and World Cafe in group work in churches for a number of years. I feel experienced in some aspects of this work, and like a complete novice in others.
- What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
- I want to work more from this hosting 'model', but am not sure where or how.
- Where do you live/work?
- I live in Bowdoinham Maine and currently work with the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ
- Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
- I am very interested in the spirit which manifests in good work with groups, and the collaborative evocative energy which invites and supports sharing of gifts. As a minister I am very interested in strengthening the capacity of people of different faith traditions to work effectively in the service of real peace and environmental sustainability.
