How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I hear about the Art of Hosting while attending a long term training course about systemic change hosted by CONCORD, Development Perspectives and Smart CSOs, with the support of DEEEEP project. If I recall coreectly, we were in Johannesburg and it was November 2014.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been facilitating group learning around the world for more than 15 years. In this journey, I worked many times with World Café, Open Space Technology and Circle conversations. However, AoH community is not only putting these methods in practice but doing so within a new framework which brings ideas from the systems perspective of life and other emergent approaches which takes the work to a much deeper level. Having this in mind, i consider myself a starting practitioner:-)
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I'm working on local, national and global levels, hosting spaces that explore the blind spots of our times, the borderlands of activism and at the same time also refleting on our current local and global situation and ourselves as organ senses of the complexity, interdependence and uncertainty that comes with the current times. Mostly how can we deal with the great transit that we are called to do, both collectively and individually.

You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you. We hope you will find value in exchanging in this virtual community!
