How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I attended an AoH workshop on social transformation in Egypt, I just came back from it yesterday 15th of Jan 2012. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Coming back from the workshop I attended in Fayoum (Egypt) I just have millions of ideas on how I could apply AoH in my work which is mostly related to education in Egypt. So I'm new to the experience and just starting to apply it.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Education in Egypt on different levels, teacher training, intercultural training with adults, hosting a forum on education in Egypt with academic people, trying to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real life etc...
Where do you live/work?
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I have a passion for all aspects of intercultural encounters, and I'm also passionate about how to change the educational system, teaching for me means creating a space for learning, and AoH is just perfect for this and came in to my life just in the right moment to help me develop this passion and really practice it.
