Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
The University of Minnesota has a group of practitioners in Art of Participatory Leadership. I was introduced to the concept in March of 2011 as part of a leadership program at the U of M. I had always respected circle work and group collaboration with skilled facilitation. Art of Hosting takes this to new places without limits.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
As an OD practitioner, I tap into the University of Minnesota's Art of Hosting group and seek support from them for large scale events. I admire and value the concept of "all contribute" and I marvel at the power of synergistic results, especially for societies grand challenges, and want to champion this in all of my work.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
wellbeing (organizational, group and personal)
Where do you live/work?
USA - hoping to return to New Zealand
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Collaboration for innovative solutions to life's challenges - especially around holistic concepts of wellbeing (whole person, whole system) approach of balance and valuing all parts. My background is in management consulting and L&D facilitation/program development. I'd like to find partners willing to forge new paths in support of societal good.
