- How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
- Halifax Nova Scotia, Sept 26-28, 2011. I heard about it from ALIA notices.
- Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
- I have some experience with Art of Hosting and have used it with community organizations that I have been working with.
- What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
- I am a freelance finance manager and am focusing my energy on transforming our relationships with money with the idea that we can then create sustainable communities. I am working towards increasing local philanthropy and investment in community organizations because of the great work they are doing.
- Where do you live/work?
- Halifax Regional Municipality
- Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
- Community engagement especially how we use our money to support out communities. The idea that there is sufficient and that we can let go of our belief of scarcity.
