Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
In the summer of 2013, I was a volunteer with a nonprofit organizing a Peace Day Celebration on September 21st. The project manager had attended an AoH training and used some of the methods - actually mainly the circle. What attracted me to it was the joy and enthusiasm I was filled with at every meeting.

Then an opportunity for an AoH facilitated seminar on peace initiatives was announced and the possibility for me to be involved in the preparation. That finally did not happen, but I started watching a lot of vides and do some reading in order to understand what it was about.

In March 2014, I participated in the seminar on peace initiatives, with Nancy Bragard and Marc Lévitte as hosts. Back home, I immediately started searching for a training in the Art of Hosting itself. I have found it in Planica, Slovenia, and I'm off tomorrow morning with two other people who live in the area.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been hosting quite a few meetings during the last few months, using the circle, finding powerful questions.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Right now, I took responsibility for organizing an event for International Peace Day on the 21st of September.

In the future, as my experience and competence increase, I am planning to offer help to nonprofits.
Where do you live/work?
Near Tarbes, close to the Pyrenees.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Love and gratitude for life, raising awareness in people, singing, teaching singing.
