How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
A friend introduced me to Open Cafe and recently posted a bit on his blog about ProAction Cafe, http://www.working-faith.com/wordpress/?p=829.
I love the fact that everyone's past, present and future contribution is valued. This gives people freedom and a great sense of worth, and so they present their ideas in a way much more akin to a loving family than before an examining board.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been a participant at 2 OpenCafe-modelled events; I have yet to lead one. I would grade my competense as "new" / "starting"
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Not really applicable as far as hosting is concerned but I have a keen interest in rebuilding neighbourhood communities.
Where do you live/work?
London, UK
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Happy to share technical expertise (computer and internet), and supporting, resoursing and encouraging others when I am able to.

Hi Francoise, great to see you here! Please, when you have the time, load a photo, so we can really "see" you, tell us some more about yourself, and have a look at the conversation forums that are in action, that's where we can contribute to each other. I hope you find great community in the Art of Hosting network!
