How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: It was about 7 or 8 years ago. My practice as a steward/host of The World Café, conflict resolution work with Search for Common Ground, association with Facing History and Ourselves teaching and practice/facilitation of Public Conversations Project and coaching/co-facilitation with Soliya.net. Art of Hosting blends all these methodologies into an Artful Practice.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): Experienced steward mostly of World Cafés

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: especially with inter-generational conversations, multi-generational collaboration.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I am visiting Cairo, Egypt from October 23 - 30th and understand there was an AoH training recently. I have some time to connect some of the AoH trainees in Cairo with the Soliya hub of facilitators - as a representative of The World Café Community Foundation, I want to host some interested people to come together and learn about one another's interests/passions and capacities....and generally just follow up with support.
I am looking for a key AoH person in Cairo to make contact with and let them know I'll be available for this reason.
