How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I have known about the Art of Hosting for some years. I probably discovered it while browsing the web.
I have been hosting Knowledge Cafes for the past 12 years and so I am naturally attracted to the work of the community.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
As I say above, I have been hosting Knowledge Cafes for the past 12 years. I have run them all over the world and they have become central to who I am and what I do. I would consider myself an experienced practitioner and steward.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My focus today is far broader then the Knowledge Cafe. It is on "Conversational Leadership".
In a nut shell, it is a style of working where people, especially managers, understand the transformative power of conversation and take a conversational approach to the way that they work and relate to people.
Where do you live/work?
I and work in Fleet, Hampshire in England though I spend a lot of time in London and travelling internationally.
