How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I'm a process consultant. I help orgs get better.
First I create urgency by telling them I cannot be here for long. Then I help them work it. Then I help them own it. Then I help them become more adaptive. Then I get out of the way. Then I leave.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I'm a fan of the cultural anthropology authors Victor Turner and Arnold van Gennep. In my work I evangelize "invitation" as an effective alternative to "mandates". I'm convinced that "passage rites" are extremely strong medicine for organizations on a genuine path of improvement. Open Agile Adoption implements a (designed) passage rite that is adapted to the modern world of work.

Hope yours is off to a good start. Cheers -
As one of the site administrators, I was going to welcome you ... and my friend Ursula beat me to it! Which doesn't mean I can't welcome you too! WELCOME to the ning ... an amazing platform for people called towards organisational learning.
Your profile information really resonates for me and I'd love to connect at some point. You call yourself a process consultant (excellent ...) and I refer to what I do as dialogue architect. Like yourself, start things moving towards holding crucial conversations ... and then step out. I live in France ... but come to RI every summer (I grew up there). Let's look at connecting somewhere in New England in August! And in the meantime, if you feel so called, here!
Hello, Daniel, welcome to the Art of Hosting community! Glad to see you here. Post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. We hope you will find value in exchanging in this virtual community!
