How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
During my traineeship at the European Commission (Brussels, February 2017). Even though I was a bit reluctant to it in the first place, while practising and seing the results, I definitely acknowledged it's importance. To say that having "meaningful conversations" is paramount, is such a true statement!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I've changed. Until then, I used to think that no one was able to have deep conversations about something, hence I felt a bit "lonely". With the AoH, I've seen that I'm not alone, and that I can definitely help others to interact and reach their goals. At work, I see this happening already and it feels good and the right thing to do. I'm a beginner (I had my intro training 3 months ago) but I've been practising a lot (hosting, harvesting) with experienced hosts.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
For now, it's all in my professional environment. Once I'll get more practice with it, I'd like to expand it to other environments and people.
Where do you live/work?
