How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I have been involved in the Art of Hosting community of practice for many years now. My connections began on Bowen Island - at Rivendell, and through friendship and learning with the many practitioners flowing through our little island.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): The Art of Hosting is a core practice in my work and life. I have been organizing and hosting AoH's for about 5 years now together with other stewards and practitioners. My 'home' hosting is Bowen Island, at the Rivendell Center. I have called and hosted a Stewards gathering on Bowen, and attended other stewards gatherings and learning villages around the world. the art of hosting - is core to my work with groups and my one on one leadership coaching work.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: The primary focus of my hosting work is working with leaders, hosts, change agents and others to open space for more possibility is times of change and challenge. I work as a facilitator of groups and also as a coach. I work deeply with the inquiry based process of The Work (of Byron Katie) to engage with limiting beliefs and thinking patterns - for individuals and groups. I also work with groups and communities using other core Art of Hosting technologies including Open Space and World Cafe.

Where do you live/work?: I live on Bowen Island, BC, Canada. I work here - and around the world when invited (and on skype for coaching)

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I am passionate about leaning into the areas that feel scary and stuck, and listening in for the possibility that lies beyond the limits of fear and stressful thinking.
I also love playing with improv theater.
