How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I heard about Art of Hosting for the first time in 2016, when I was living in Hanoi. I could not join the 2016 Vietnam training, but it spoke to me so much that I joined the team to organize the next one in 2017. One thing lead to another, and I ended up quitting my job, staying in Hanoi, and starting an education / training organization to share the practice further in Vietnam.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Starting a field of practice in a country where it is still very weak ; building a community of practictioners ; adapting to cultural specificity.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Building an organization that will be based on hosting practices
I wish I could help you out here!... Maybe you've figured it out in the meantime. I am not good with the specific manipulations on the ning. You could see if Ria Baeck (email@example.com) or Rowan Simonsen (firstname.lastname@example.org) could help you out. Best of luck and here's hoping AoH continues to unfold in VN!
I have been trying to put online the upcoming AoH Vietnam Training in the Event list, and I keep getting an error message saying that "there is something wrong". Pretty sure I'm doing it right though :) Any idea how I could move forward? Thanks
