The Warrior of the Heart Training draws on deep principles of Aikido to help us work with strength and compassion in our daily lives. It invites us to discover the balance of our inner Warrior and the inner Midwife. The Warrior is the one who can cut through, who can stand ground, who can anchor to the stable core amidst the noise, distractions and dramas of daily life. And the Midwife is the one who can guide, facilitate and act with tact, compassion and discretion. When we know these forces it is possible to call on them and direct their energies inwardly and outwardly.

Inwardly toward the work we need to be doing for ourselves and outwardly towards the work we need to be doing in the world. The training involves instruction, light practical exercises and dialogue. The practice also involves the use of the Flow Game  (http://www.flowspil.net/flowgame.net/Welcome.html),which assists in the process of asking reflective questions leading towards deep insight. We’ll also take advantage of the location and spend some time walking through the forest.

Leading from the Heart will be led by Aikido Practitioner Toke Moller from Denmark who I invited to host this event. It draws on deep principles of Aikido to help us work with strength and compassion in our daily lives. The event for men will involve instruction, discussion, light practical exercises and reflective dialogue.

It will be held at Binna Burra Lamington National Park Qld. Cost will be approx. $550 covering accommodation, food and tuition.

The invitation for Toke to work with us comes from a need that I recognise in myself and other men that is best summed up with these questions:

•                How do I as a man work with love and strength responding constructively in the

moments when I am beset by fear, uncertainty or emotionality?

•                How do I get to know my positive core and anchor into it particularly when I’m

challenged, or called to step up, or when I’m required to make an important

              decision?

•                How do I stay grounded within myself while doing the work I need to do in the world,

now, and no matter what obstacles arise?

If these questions resonate with you may I encourage you to consider attending this event? Perhaps it will offer you the insight you have been seeking. Perhaps it will propel you in your leadership journey. Perhaps it will strengthen your inner resolve to do the work you need to continue. Perhaps it will bring you closer to your true self and in turn closer to others. Whatever it might be I sincerely believe this event will offer you a significant and memorable experience.

Wishing all you men a deep and powerful time together.  We need your grounded warriorship in the world.  I know I am only one of the many women at your backs and holding the rim for your circle!
