How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I attended an AoH workshop in Saint Paul, Minnesota in April, 2012. I was attracted to it because the mindset and tools offered seem to fill a void that more traditional methods are not able to address.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am in between a starting practitioner and experienced practitioner. I have been an OD professional for decades. The AoH community and values resonate with much of the inner work I've done over the past ten years.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Social architect; artists as community change agents
Where do you live/work?
I live in northern Wisconsin but work throughout the region...Minnesota, Wisconsin, North & South Dakota.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I am very interested in how the artist archetype is emerging in our society (as described by Peter Block in "The Answer to How is Yes," providing a much-needed dimension and counter-balance to the economist/engineer archetypes so prevalent in our society today.
