How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Attended the AOH workshop in Minn. in April of 2012
I love the concept and how this can help to build community
Headed to the AOH Subtle Energies workshop in Brazil.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Currently I am working with a small group of people who have formed a community of practice group. We are committed and dedicated to learning and implementing a wide variety of principles and techiniques.
I have had a wonderful variety of experiences and practices from my work with intentional communities, our local commuity, churches, non profits and my work in the federal government .
Our group has hosted our local transition movement team and are planning a hosting event later on this year in Olympia WA
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My real passion and focus is gaining greater skills and practice in the area of the subtle energies. This is why I am headed off to Brazil.
Bringing the energy of my heart and soul into my work is of primary importance.
I will continue to learn more and gain greater proficiency in the AOH. There are few AOH stewards in my area and I would love to bring more of this to my region.
My intent is to create a common resource center in our community that provides a wide variety of commuity related resources and information.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Learning and practicing and presenting more AOH workshop in this region and the world. I am working with the Transition movement here and other community group.
I am especially interested in incorporating Block's, Epstein's and others work into this mix.
