How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Attended the 1st AoH training held in Germany in 2009, near Ulm in the very south of Germany. Was co-founder and CEO of the Hub Berlin at the time, working with people like Frauke Godat, Simone Poutnik and other Hub founders around the world who already used AoH extensively.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Despite my exposure to it, I still feel like a starting practitioner to some extend. There's many principles and attitudes that I apply a lot and others, which I'm still exploring. But as I continue to work with changemakers and community builders around the world, I start seeing the difference in the quality of change that people/groups who use AoH principles make, as in distinction from other methods. And I start seeing patterns that could be responsible for this difference in result, so I'd like to re-connect with the AoH community more deeply and frequently again.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Hosting community building and social start-ups
Where do you live/work?
Berlin is home base, work a lot in India and all over Europe
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
graphic recording/facilitating; story telling
