How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I participated a 3-day AoH training program in Karlskrona, Sweden in March 2010, organised in collaboration with Tiimiakatemia / Team Academy, Kaospilots, MSLS and YIP. Second time was spring 2013 in Finland, Otavan Opisto and so on. I have been working with participatory and team learning methods since 2009. Before that, over 17 years now, I've been been designing all kinds of event and learning processes.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I brought with me a full backpack of refreshed thinking, practical and effective learning and leadership tools, great new connections and inspiration. These assets I have been utilising in my work as a team coach, facilitator and learning event expert working with entrepreneurs and professionals of educational field and public sector. My competence in facilitating is probably experienced practitioner level. I definitely want to develop further in using the particular AoH methods and also have started offering facilitation training, which some AoH practices are part of.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: I have been working with many different groups, from SME entrepreneurs as well as teachers and other professional on the educational field and public sector, focused on entrepreneurship education and regional development, but also some NGOs and senior citizens. From 1 day events to 1,5 year processes, many in close collaboration with Tiimiakatemia Network.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: 'Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.' (Margaret Mead)
I work as a coach and facilitator with learning design, building organisational learning skills and learning culture. My background is in Tiimiakatemia (Team Academy) way of learning and event management.
