How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I probably heard about Art of Hosting for the first time sometime around February while browsing the web. After that I have come across it in many projects and discussions with friends and acquaintances. To name a few places: Global Service Jam, Helsinki Hub, Helsinki Pro Action Café hosting team.

I am interested in learning more creative and effective ways to host events. I am also in the Helsinki Pro Action Café team so I am sure that Art of Hosting will help me develop my skills of hosting that event better as well.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): Starting practitioner probably. I have hosted a lot of different kinds of events ranging from university entrepreneurship events (idea generation etc.) to Amnesty International campaign planning and other events to now recently the monthly Helsinki Pro Action Café event. However, I am really new to Art of Hosting community and practices.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Campaign planning for NGOs, empowering others to generate and push their ideas forward.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Mainly digital environment, entrepreneurship, non-profits, development aid, sustainability, collaborative consumption, human rights, empowering people.
