How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I just completed a 3-day Art of Hosting with BALLE in Chicago (September 22-24, 2012). I was attracted to Art of Hosting because I am convening a number of groups in the coming months and wanted some new tools and frameworks to help those meetings reach their full potential.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I had experienced one World Cafe in the past, but otherwise I am new to Art of Hosting. After having several opportunities to co-host in the workshop I just completed, I would say I am a starting practicioner.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Biodynamic farming and gardening.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Sustainable agriculture, localism, gift economies, social justice, ecological renewal
