Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
It was in May 2010. In Japan, Bob Stilger, Teresa Posakony, Tenneson Woolf, and Susan Virnig were invited as AoH hosts, by Yuya Nishimura, to create the first AoH camp. I was one of the volunteer staff and participants. I was attracted to an impression that unfamiliar and unknown space can make something newly authentic emerge.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Every few hours, I practice hosting self (being present) and sensing currents behind conversation and silence.
Every few months, I practice hosting events. Every time my family member's life is coming to a close, I practice story harvest with them.

I am starting practitioner.

Welcome, Tats, great to see you here (that is, we will SEE you here when you upload a picture -- I'm sure you've got a good one!).  There are plenty of resources to have a look at and conversations to become part of -- I hope this community will be a great one for you and you a great contribution to it!
