How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I was introduced to AoH while doing the Masters in Strategic Leadership toward Sustainability in Karlskrona, Sweden and went through training in March 2011. My thesis examined how participatory processes can be integrated with planning for strategic sustainable development. This research lead to my co-authoring of The Weave: Participatory Process Design Guide for Strategic Sustainable Development (written with Tracy Meisterheim and Alison Cretney).

Starting practitioner
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I want to be hosting around topics relating to strategic sustainable development, communication strategies and organizational branding.
Where do you live/work?
I am based in Nelson (BC, Canada), but work well anywhere.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I (heart) the forest… the trees, the air, the adventure. Whether I'm riding, exploring, or simply breathing in the fresh air, I always feel alive in the forest – ontinually inspired.
I'm a graphic design and communications professional dedicated to endorsing meaningful social, environmental and educational initiatives.
