How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I attended training in December 2009 at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank in Columbus, Ohio. I heard about it through OSU channels for professional development.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I have brought Art of Hosting back to my organization and assisted in hosting events with other mates in our community. I consider it a vital part of the way I lead my department and what I promote within our organization. I would consider myself an experienced practitioner who still appreciates outside input as I develop purpose and questions for events.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Strategic planning, organizational development and culture.

Where do you live/work?: I live in Columbus, Ohio and work at The Ohio State University

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I am also involved with ALIA and am looking forward to attending my third summer institute this year. This is another organization that strongly influences my leadership philosophy and development.
