How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I have learned about Art of Hosting through my work as a communications consultant to the Bush Foundation. I have had exposure to Art of Hosting events since the summer of 2011, and work to deepen my understanding of its processes so that I can better tell the stories of Hosting and harvests.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
As noted above, I have provided communications and project management support to several events that rely on Art of Hosting techniques to engage citizens and help them find common solutions. I would consider myself new to the practice.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I am a communications consultant specializing in policy communications and communications as a tool to facilitate social change. For 2 years I have specifically worked in the field of government redesign as the space of chance.
Where do you live/work?
Minneapolis, MN
