How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I got to know about it the first time in autumn 2009, when I attended the International Youth Initiative Program in Sweden. There we used regularly techniques of the Art of Hosting and had also a course about the Chaordic Stepping Stones. I got really inspired about them and was astonished about the "magical" atmosphere they can create and how powerful they can become when they are used the right way and everybody is really engaged.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am more or less a starting practitioner. In my current situation I have not so much possibilities to practice them really. I try to spread the word about them and tell people about my experience. Where I am now, nobody has ever heard about it and there is a lot of sceptism. But I also know that I would like to chance this...
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I can not say it yet really.
Where do you live/work?
At the moment I live nearby Landshut, a small town in the South of Germany, but I am going to move where I am going to study this summer. Even I do not know anything, yet!
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I have really diverse interests, but mostly in people, their stories, dreams and challenges... I also passioned about nature and our environment and I also love to move, doing diverse kinds of sports and experiencing nature and myself through it. I am also a kind of artist, I love to be creative in diverse ways. At the moment I am in this state that everything I do, say or think has to make sense or better to be meaningful. I am really a passionate seeker for meaning in my life... even it is challenging, but I can not stop.
