How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I learned about the Art of Hosting through the UMN College of Design's workshop (called the Art of Participatory Leadership), held the second week of January 2012.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I'm a new practitioner, but am convinced that the methods I learned in this recent workshop can be applied in numerous situations. I intend to explore their possibilities in almost all organizations I work in.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Landscape architecture, school, and music

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: A love of music, rock climbing (the outdoors) poetry, philosophy, and landscape architecture/design.
